SEU

This is the standard planting material used where mother palms with an average yield of above 180kg/palm/year (over 4 years) are used for seed production. This however has already surpassed the minimum yield of 160kg/palm/year as required by the Malaysian standards body (SIRIM). The minimum oil to bunch is also 18.0%. Bunches for SEU palms are smaller in size but with a higher bunch number. Palm girth is generally smaller.
